It's common that puppies get diarrhea from being placed in their new homes as the surrounding change, they lose their mothers and litter mates they become a bite stressed from the travel and flights. This is common, and should subside as the puppy gets use to the environment , and is not covered under the health guarantee. It is very necessary to continue the puppies vaccinations and worming on schedule in order to protect the puppy's health and for the guarantee to remain valid. It must be done and you must provide proof from the veterinarian in order to make any claims.We recommend you consult your veterinarian early about the prevention of heart worms. It is required that the buyer will have yearly exams for the puppy including heart worm detection, fecal examinations, and all vaccinations required by your veterinarian. Luxating Patella must be diagnosed during th initial vet examination and reported to the breeder within 72 hours of arrival . Due to many factors that can affect the condition , breeders cannot be responsible for laxating patellas that are not evident at the time of the initial veterinarian examination. Leg-Perthes is normally diagnosed 10 months of age . If the puppy is diagnosed with leg perthes and surgery is required a biopsy must be performed ion the femoral head to determine for a fact that it is leg perthes and not an injury , as injury can mimic leg perthes. If the puppy has injured itself in any way in the hip area we will not cover any surgery. Anesthetic deaths are not covered . Anytime an animal undergoes anesthesia the owner and veterinarian assume liability. Many times anesthetic deaths go without a specific diagnosis due to the many variables that are involved. Heart Murmurs should be diagnosed during the initial check of the veterinarian exam and I will not ship a puppy if my veterinarian examination finds this or any other condition . Heart murmurs can occur for many reasons and usually do not affect the pets quality of life . Any other heart murmur that is diagnosed after the initial veterinarian exam must be affecting the day -to-day life of the puppy and require daily medication to qualify for replacement of the puppy. Behavioral problems are extremely complex in nature with many factors influencing the overall behavior of the puppy. Home environment is the owner plays the most part . Breeders is not responsible for any behavioral problems. Testicles on the male puppies are not guaranteed . Customers will be notified if there is only one testicle or if one has not dropped, however the puppies are sold for pet not for breeding. Hypoglycemia (low sugar drop) is not guaranteed as this depends on what the puppy has to eat and drink and it is common in very small breeds . It is very important to be informed and know what to do. This is your responsibility . Worms and parasites- Every effort will be taken to ensure that none are present in the puppy. Due to the life stages of these host I can't guarantee there will never be any present but I guarantee that they were treated for prevention of them. These host are worms, coccidia and Guardia. These conditions can be brought on by stress due to the move, stress , change of diet, to much handling and not enough quiet time to rest or not eating properly. These conditions are treatable and have been treated and therefore it is up to you to continue care of the puppy. They are not guaranteed .Again be informed of any problems to look for. Ear mite and ear infections- we make every effort to check the puppies and they are vet checked as well but again as time goes on it's important that you care for your puppy as these host can occur therefore we have no guarantee . Colds and influenza - puppies are always checked before sent , so we take very effort to provide you a good healthy puppy but this is before transporting and flights , we have no control of what the puppy could contact and have no guarantee because it is out of our control. Mortality of a puppy will be required, a full necropsy (not partial) along with a full blood toxicology report to determine if the breeder is responsible for replacing the puppy. If within the first year of the puppy's life , it is found to have a life-threatening heart, liver , or kidney congenital defect , send a detailed letter of explanation from your licensed veterinarian as to the nature of the defect and how it was found. Breeders must be notified at once at the onset on the problem. My veterinarian will interpret the report and if she concurs, then a replacement puppy will be given. No refund , in part or in full, will be given. The owner will then be qualified to get a replacement puppy when one becomes available . The breeder guarantees a healthy companion pet. but dose not guarantee size, color , temperament of the puppy . Nor does the breeder guarantee for breeding . The puppy has received it's first worming and vaccinations , to protect them. I send a record of the vaccinations and worming the puppies have received , take this to the veterinarian so he knows what the puppy has already received and the date given. It very important ! Guarantee is null and void if veterinarian examination is not done in the 3 day period. If puppy is found to have a health problem at it's initial exam and the buyer opts ti treat the puppy instead breeder is not responsible for any expense incurred or for the death of the puppy. The guarantee dose not include any illness due to ingestion of foreign objects , food, chemicals, or physical injury. This guarantee is void in the invent of an indeterminable or inconclusive diagnosis and if the puppy has not been kept current on worming , vaccination and scheduled veterinary visits. Proof of all veterinarian records must be provided if a claim be made. Surgical intervention to resolve any medical defects under the following conditions : all need surgery will only be performed following consultation with my veterinarian who will determine whether he or an associate would normally perform the needed procedure or if the procedure is needed. Should surgery be required and agreed to by the consulting veterinarians I will pay up to 50% of the purchase price of the puppy or 50% of the surgical cost , whichever is the lesser amount. This is a one time occurrence. To qualify for replacement puppy a second opinion from an unassociated veterinarian is required followed by consultion between my and your veterinarian. If a puppy is shipped back for any reason the buyer is responsible for the shipping cost. This document must be signed , dated and sent back to the breeder with a health certificate from your licensed veterinarian for the guarantee to be honored. If this is not sent back within ten days the guarantee is VOID.
